The nail artist explains in an Instagram post showcasing the design that she and Bieber went through an incredible 50 colours before settling on “the one.” The green colour is actually a blend of three OPI GelColors: No Faux Yellow, Green Come True, and OPI Stay Strong GelColor Base Coat, with a small amount of glow-in-the-dark dip powder added for good measure.
The polish mixture, according to Ganzorigt, was applied in a single layer before OPI’s Apply Stay Shiny Gel Color was added. She then drew the wavy lines with OPI Gel Color in Suzy’s Slinging Mezcal and added a little OPI Chrome Effects in Gold Digger for gloss. After curing it, she applied a second application of the Stay Shiny Gel Color Top application.
With Bieber’s track record of igniting viral manicure trends, her day-glo nails will live on long after she hangs up her Coachella VIP pass when she gets home from weekend one on Sunday night. In fact, it wouldn’t be out of line to proclaim it as the biggest nail art look of summer 2023.
